Pros and cons of Pocket Points: Student Rewards app for iPhone and iPad

Pocket Points: Student Rewards app good for

Ive been using it for a while now and Ive saved so much money. Now I can afford my textbooks!
It keeps me off my phone during class and honestly the best part about coming to school
The app is absolutely fantastic. It actually keeps me off my phone and classes and rewards me for it. You start listening in detail in class because of it. No feeling is better than getting to use those points as well. The only way to be better is if it offered gift cards by using your points.
I love using pocket points! Who doesnt want to get discounts just for not looking at your phone during class? Awesome idea!
Super creative concept and it actually works! Plus I get cheap smoothies
I basically get rewarded for doing something I already should be doing (and paid to do). Who wouldnt like that?

Some bad moments

Im running iOS v 9.3.2 and whenever I tap the gift icon or go to the gifts page from the menu, the app immediately crashes. This sort of ruins the appeal, but from other reviews it seems that the gifts arent so great anywho
This is a cool app idea, but with pretty bad execution. I went on to a store to redeem my points and the app wouldnt even load anything. I waited for minutes, and still nothing. If it worked, it might be worth a couple more stars. What is the point of an app that doesnt even work?
The app is very slow. Every time I try to redeem my point, the coupons take about 5+ minutes to load. It says that I need to have wifi to be able use it?!
This app seems pretty cool except for the fact that it doesnt have my school listed. Therefore, i cant use the app. If they add my school I will fix the review.
This app lets me use it until Im on the home screen and then when I click the lock button nothing pops up and it doesnt count my time off the phone. There is also no picture of the present with the color meter.
This app was 2 legit 2 quit when I first learned about it, but it has since experienced a long and painful fall. The deals offered are slowly moving away from "get this for free, no strings attached" to "if you keep this app on all day, well give you $1 off for every $30 you spend." What happened to you pocket points? You used to be cool.
