Fix it

This app crashes so much its so annoying. I am so tired of having to delete and reinstall the app.

Barely works

This app is good. Ive gotten free stuff through it but it will just completely not work half the time. If Im trying to find deals, it just gets stuck on the loading screen and doesnt let me do anything. Needs to be fixed to even consider downloading.

25 Points

I cant get past 25 points, every time it updates to 26 until I click on the store and it drops me back down to 25.

Crashes & looses all points

I have had this app for just over a month and at first I was really happy with it. I was able to earn points when I already had my phone off. And the points can be used for coupons I was interested in. The down side to this app... Its EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE!!! It crashes all the time. Most of the time you can close the app and reopen it to the home page with the gift loading up points. Well today it crashed, showed just a black screen so naturally I closed the app and reopened it. This time it took me to the login page, I signed as an existing member. After logging in it brought me the home screen but over 50 of my points were missing. I havent bought a coupon yet I was saving up to get one that was worth more points. This is SO FRUSTRATING!!! It took quite a bit of time to accumulate over 50 points and now they are all missing. If you want an app that you have to remember each time you are in class to turn on using your wifi, drains your battery and then crashes and LOSES ALL the points your earned then get this app. Otherwise save your time.

Trash

The app is so inconsistent in its working status. 80% of the time Ive had it it hasnt worked. The other 20% it doesnt accurately keep track of when Im on campus despite filling the user instructions.

Wont work

Every time I download this app and hit next, it never loads to the next step. Im very disappointed.

Shady.

Tell people that the coupons will only work in store before you make them redeem their codes. Ridiculous. I wasted 50 points to try to get a buy one get one free pizza delivered. A lot of college students dont have cars and are not able to just walk into a restaurant to redeem the points. Extremely unsatisfied and will be deleting this app.

Works well but...

I love pocket points!! Well at least until I started med school and it tells me Im not in class when I am.

Great, but not fair.

I love the idea of the app. You get to earn points while in class or while doing homework on campus. This gets you motivated to finish your work because you can then use the points you just earned to buy yourself a much deserved dinner or outfit. The only issue I have with this app is that the only place I can redeem it at is at another university. In my case, I attend Valencia College and I am not a transient student of UCF so I have not even attended the university. I can only redeem a coupon at a restaurant located in the heart of UCF. Maybe I wouldnt be so upset if they added locations outside of the university? Possibly the road outside of the school?

loading screen

It never gets past the loading screen.

FREE FOOD IS BAE

I love the concept, I love that it gets me off my phone, and I love the free food. I do suggest opening the apple before you leave class or studying. Ive found sometimes you can not gain the points when you open a text or open the app outside the area you were before. Also some of the actual free items are limited so you have to be quick to get them

Doesnt have my school

I am a sophomore at a small university in central Ohio. My boyfriend uses this app constantly at Ohio State, but I cant use it because they dont have my school. Ive requested Otterbein University MULTIPLE times in the last few month, but its still not there. Please actually look at your school requests? If one person starts using it at a small school, the entire rest of the university is going to find out how cool it is in about 2 days.

Weird restrictions

My app keeps telling me that i "can only earn points between 4am and 3am" which should mean that I can earn points any hour of the day except 3-4am; however, anytime after midnight I am unable to earn points until around 7 am the next day... This is a huge downside to the app considering all the late nights I spend at the library!

Free stuff mm

Great app! I mean Im on campus around 12 hours why not get free stuff for going to class and work? Using some points right now to get food, bye.

Fun way to earn free stuff

Lots of negative reviews cite glitches and problems with the app, or are complaining because their school isnt part of the system yet. Pocket points is still getting started and has the potential to be really awesome. Lets give it some more time to work out the bugs and add more schools. But lets also be real, if you go to a teeny tiny private school, pocket points just might not be for you... Sorry :( So far, I have NOT experienced any problems with the app and am enjoying earning "pocket points" whenever I remember to turn on the app while on campus (Ive found that the greatest barrier to my earning points is remembering to turn on the app... Haha). Anyway, Ive enjoyed some BOGO sandwiches and its awesome. Yay free stuff. Thanks, Pocket Points!

Poor

The point of this app is to keep you off of your phone but instead, I stay on it trying to make it work for me. I was super excited to download it and super excited when I got points for using it one day but then the next day the app couldnt pinpoint my location and kept telling me to try again! It even told me to connect to wifi and when I did that, it still wouldnt connect. I get really frustrated with the app.

Exceptional

This app pays you to do nothing. Doesnt get better than that.

Please update

The app is not compatible with the newest iOS update

Bad gifts

Was a fan of the app and kind of want to delete it because there are no good food places or any that I like:(

Solid concept, but occasional connectivity issues

I have a love-hate relationship with Pocket Points. The concept is solid, especially at universities such as UNM where tons of nearby eateries have gotten onboard with the idea. The 2x Tuesdays are also a really clever way to encourage usage of the app! My only complaint with the app is that it has a tendency to waffle between using your cellular data and your wifi at times.
